In Loving Memory of Carol Janice Sether It is with profound sadness and endless love that we announce the passing of Carol Sether, a devoted mother, cherished sister, loving grandmother, and treasured friend. Carol was the heart of her family. As the beloved mother of three children, Aubrey Warren, Nathan Sether, and Renee Sether, she filled their lives with unconditional love, strength, wisdom, and warmth. Her greatest joy came from watching her children grow and from being a constant source of comfort and encouragement through every season of life. She shared a special and lifelong bond with her sister, Cheryl Hawes, and her two brothers, Lynne Barsten and Jerrald Barsten. Dale Sether (ex-husband) also remained a close friend and loving caregiver to the end of her life. They were all an important part of her life and heart. To her four grandchildren, Landon, Alyssa and Eli, she was more than a grandmother. She was a source of joy, kindness, reassurance, and endless affection. She treasured every moment spent with them, and the love she gave will remain with them throughout their lives. Carol will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, strength, and generosity. Her presence brought warmth and fun to every gathering with her infectious laugh. She was born and raised in Wenatchee, WA, the place she loved to call home. Her career included 38 years at Confluence Health (previously Wenatchee Valley Clinic) before retiring in 2024. Although her absence leaves an immeasurable space in our hearts, her love will never leave us. It lives on in her children, her grandchildren, her siblings, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her lessons will guide us, her memories will comfort us, and her spirit will remain forever woven into the family she loved so deeply. She was deeply loved, and she will be dearly missed.
