Daniel James Peterson

Daniel J. "Danny" Peterson East Wenatchee, WA Daniel James "Danny" Peterson, 23, left us suddenly on September 12, 2009. He was born on March 17, 1986, to Victor and Kelly Peterson of East Wenatchee. He was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church. He graduated from Eastmont High School in 2004. Daniel was currently attending Wenatchee Valley College, pursuing his Associate Degree. He worked with Washington State DOT Maintenance, as a Summer Temp, worked in construction and most recently, making his famous sandwiches at Subway. Daniel was a very active young man. His passions were riding his street bike, dirt bike, snowmobile, skateboard, snowboard, trapshooting and playing video games with his friends. While growing up, Daniel played hockey for the Wenatchee Blades and Eastmont High School Hockey Team. He also played Little League Baseball and Big River Soccer. Daniel had an infectious smile, regardless of what crossed his path. He was a very honest, generous, compassionate, positive person. He was always there to lend a hand, without hesitation. He was a very loving young man, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Daniel only had one brother, but he had numerous friends who considered him their brother. All who knew Danny personally, will love him forever. He will always hold a special spot in our hearts. He is survived by his parents, Victor and Kelly Peterson and brother, Jake Peterson, all of East Wenatchee; grandparents, Ralph and Pauline Peterson of Wenatchee and Marita Hinderer of East Wenatchee; aunt, Alana (Sam) Adkins of Great Falls, MT; aunt, Sarah (Larry) Bagdon of East Wenatchee; cousins, Stephanie Telford, Luke Sukow, Jill Adkins, Cameron Cammack and Katherine Cammack. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Arnie Hinderer. Viewing will be Friday, September 18, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 171 Eastmont Avenue, East Wenatchee. Concluding Services and Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee. Daniel's friends and family are invited to the church following the Services, for a luncheon and sharing of memories. Memorials may be made to Children's Hospital, Faith Lutheran Church Memorial Garden, or Blue Ribbon Coalition. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
