David E. Timboe

David E. Timboe November 1, 1959 ~ February 7, 2013 David E. Timboe, a lifelong resident of the Wenatchee Valley, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013, in his home surrounded by his beloved family, following his courageous five year battle with cancer. He was born November 1, 1959, to Everett and Patricia Timboe, at St. Anthony's Hospital. He attended Eastmont schools, graduating from Eastmont High in 1977. After graduation, he attended WVC and WWU. He married the love of his life, Rebecca Baldwin, on October 8, 1983, at Holy Apostles Catholic Church. They made their home in the Wenatchee Valley, raising five beautiful children and also being blessed with three wonderful grandchildren. Dave was employed at Alcoa for 30 years, before his medical retirement in 2010. His greatest joys in life came from spending time with his family, whether it was traveling for his kid's sporting events, to the coast for camping, and catching the occasional Mariners game. His retirement gave him the opportunity to spend more time doing the things he loved, both in his yard and around the house. There was never a problem he couldn't solve, a question he couldn't answer, or car he couldn't repair. Dave was a devout member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Dave, like his father, enjoyed woodworking and sharing those skills with St. Joseph's School. He also expressed his faith by repairing rosaries and making car medals. He continues to be a true inspiration to his family and friends. Survivors include his wife and soul mate of 29 years, Becky; his five children, Brittany, Tyler, Joseph, Emily (Luke) Dilly, and Mary; his three grandchildren, Emma, Kaia and Brett; his mother, Pat; brothers, Dean (Susie) and Jim (Cyndi); sister, Jenny (Jeff) Pulver; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Timboe. A Rosary will be recited at Telford's Chapel of the Valley this evening at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 625 So. Elliot Avenue, Wenatchee, on Friday, February 15, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Concluding Services and Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
