Donna Long

Donna Faye Long, age 78, of East Wenatchee, WA, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 9, 1947, in Huntsville, Arkansas, to Buren and Beulah Litterell. Donna’s illness came unexpectedly, but throughout her final days, she was comforted by the love and presence of her family — the people she cherished most. Family was at the heart of Donna’s life. Known affectionately as “Gigi,” she took immense pride and joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the smell of good food — especially on Sundays, when family dinners were a cherished tradition. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Buren and Beulah Litterell; her brother, Wayne Litterell; and her great-grandson, Dominick. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, William Long, the love of her life; her children, Brad Long, DeWayne Long, and Donnita (Tom) Reynolds; and her beloved grandchildren, Nicole (Armando) Gonzalez, Ashlyn (Ryan) Rediger, Dakota (Michelle) Long, Tanner Long, Kaleigh Reynolds, Wyatt Long, Braden Reynolds, Courtney (Chase) Whitlow, Kali Long, and Dallas Long. She also leaves behind her treasured great-grandchildren, Freddy (Madi) Gonzalez, Nikkolas Gonzalez, MaKenzee Rediger, Rafe Long, Kennedy Rediger, Ellory Long, Waylon Whitlow, Arthur Long, August Long, Hank Whitlow, and Cash Whitlow. Donna is also survived by her siblings, Junior (Loretta) Litterell of Hindsville, AR; Billy Litterell of Huntsville, AR; DeLane Ross of Bentonville, AR; and Danita (Kevin) Sears of Fayetteville, AR; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who will miss her dearly. Donna will be remembered for her kind heart, her strength, and her unwavering love for her family. Her legacy of faith, family, and togetherness will continue to live on in all those who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Serwer, Dr. Pierce, Dr. Love, and the rest of the compassionate staff at Confluence Health Hospital for their excellent care and support during Donna’s final days. A viewing on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Valley, 378 Eastmont Ave., East Wenatchee. A Funeral Service on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel of the Valley, 378 Eastmont Ave., East Wenatchee. Burial will follow the service.
