Ethel M. (Warner-Coleman) Rich April 26, 1935 ~ May 21, 2015 Ethel M. Rich, of Wenatchee, WA, age 80, passed away peacefully into the arms of her heavenly father with loved ones by her side May 21, 2015. She was born in Seattle, WA to Romaine and Sylvia Warner on April 26, 1935. The family eventually moved to Allyn, WA, where she attended school and also in Shelton, WA. She met Byron R. "Barney" Coleman and they were married on May 15, 1954. In May 1955, they were blessed with a son, Steven A. Coleman, and then three years later in February, they were blessed with a daughter, Tamra L. Coleman. Barney's job took to them to Panama, where they lived for five years. They eventually settled in Arletta, WA. Barney died in 1968, in a car accident. In 1972, she moved to Wenatchee, WA to be near family and went to work as an office manager for her brother-in-law, Walt Foster. She met Art Rich at work and they were married on June 23, 1973, in Mazama, WA at the Foster's "Ranch House". She gained a new daughter, Perri Lynn Rich. Art and Ethel had a special bond and worked together until she retired in 1980 from Columbia Concrete. They both went on to work for the Washington State Apple Commission, which they enjoyed very much. She enjoyed camping, reading, watching the Mariners and the Seahawks, as well as spending time with family and friends. She loved to work in her garden and enjoyed the many flowers blooming in her yard. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church, and this family was very important to her. Art passed away in 2011 on her birthday and her heart was broken, from which she could not seem to recover. She is survived by her daughter, Tamra (Terry) Mitchell; step-daughter, Perri Rich; daughter-in-law, Suzette Coleman; brother, Gordon (Darlene) Warner; sister, Nella (Walt) Foster; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister; her first husband, Barney; second husband, Art; and her son, Steve Coleman. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Telford's Chapel in East Wenatchee, with Services for Ethel to be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee. A Celebration of her life will be held at Calvary Bible Church in Wenatchee at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, with a reception to follow at the church. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee, WA.
