Leroy Bellew

Leroy F. Bellew “Pa” March 2, 1941 - January 3, 2026 Leroy F. Bellew, 84, of East Wenatchee, passed away on January 3, 2026 Surrounded by his loving family. Born in Spokane, WA. to Benjamin and Laura (Wise) Bellew, Leroy grew up in the Wenatchee Valley, where he attended School and built a life centered on family. He married the love of his life Diane Arms, and together they shared 65 years of marriage and raised two daughters, Lisa Drummond and Tina Rush. Leroy worked at Alcoa from 1970 until his retirement in 2000. Family meant everything to Leroy. Known affectionately as “Pa”, some of his happiest moments were spent in the backyard swimming pool, where he took great joy in teaching his grandchildren and great grandchildren how to swim. Those hours in the water became treasured memories for all who shared them. He also enjoyed time with family playing tennis, ping pong, poker, and darts. Leroy enjoyed auto body repair and had a lifelong appreciation for classic cars and local car shows. He believed that knowledge is power and liked to learn and expand his understanding of the world. He spent a great deal of time studying his King James Bible. Later in life, he found quiet enjoyment in painting on canvas, developing his skills through patience and practice. Known for his old-school style and strong character. Leroy Had a wonderful smile, a great sense of humor and a presence that will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Leroy is survived by his wife, Diane Bellew, daughters, Lisa (Jim) Drummond and Tina (Eric) Rush; Grandchildren, Shawn (Kayla) Drummond, Tianna “Annie” Rush and Colton Rush; Great grandchildren Shawna “Rosie” Drummond and Mavrik Miller; and step-grandchildren Kaiyaa Hursh and Ayonna Werner. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Richard and Jerry Bellew; sister Janet Todd; grandson Joel Drummond; and his sister Juanita Bellew Jones, who passed not long after Leroy. Arrangements are by Chapel Of The Valley. No services will be held at this time.
