Paul Holterhoff

On November 8, 2022, Paul Holterhoff went home to be with the Lord, at home peacefully in his wife's arms and his son's presence after a long battle with cancer. Paul was born in Wenatchee to Kenneth and Doris Holterhoff. He was raised in Ephrata with three brothers; Jim, Jerry and Larry, where his parents owned a glass business. Paul graduated high school from Ephrata in 1969. Paul enjoyed riding his motorcycle with family and spent alot of time at the family cabin riding in the mountains with his father. After Paul graduated high school in 1969, he was drafted in the army and served in the Vietnam war. After returning home, he spent a great deal of time with friends exploring the Pacific Northwest with camera in hand. Paul was an adventurous man and loved to see the world and the people around him. He had many talents; he was a fireman, cabinet maker, international potato equipment salesman, fabricator, janitor, groundskeeper and more. 23 years ago, Paul met his wife, Janice, while he was a fabricator at Stemilt. Paul and Janice were married on September 30, 2000 at the family's cabin. They have lived a blessed life including the birth of their son, Nathan Paul Holterhoff on March 23, and presided in East Wenatchee. Paul enjoyed spending time with his son in all aspects of his life. He was so proud of him and his accomplishments. Paul enjoyed riding his Harley so much and passed it onto his son. Paul was a relaxed man with an epic mustache and hair. Paul loved to share about his life's experiences at family gatherings. Upon retiring, Paul ended his career as a custodian to the River Academy where he enjoyed the students and faculty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Doris; brothers: Jim and Jerry. He is survived by his wife, Janice; son, Nathan; brother, Larry (Debbie); and nephews: Ryan (Lisa), their children, Camryn, Makenzie and Grant; Todd (Melanie) and their children Trey and Tate. His extended family, Rozlyn Klundt, Kayla and Scott Van Doren and their children Kent (Ania), their son, Lucas; Lynsey (Jake); Laeni (Dallas); Rhonda and Gill Walsh and their children Conner (Allie), their children Gillian and Zoey, Bryan Walsh, Lorna and Bryan Worley and their children Luke and Kami; Laurie (Greg) Holman. Memorial donations may be made to the River Academy in honor of Paul A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held on December 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Sage Hills Church, 1601 Fifth St., Wenatchee, WA.
