Sabrina Cary

Sabrina Lorraine Cary, 39, of Wenatchee, WA, passed away on July 5, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with brain cancer. Born on April 24th, 1985, in Wenatchee, Sabrina's life was a testament to love, dedication, and resilience. Sabrina pursued her passion for the natural world at Washington State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Sciences. Her career took her across the country as she worked as a Wildlife Technician in North Carolina with an Environmental Consulting company. She married John Cary in 2011 in Emerald Isle, NC. In 2012, she returned to Washington to raise her family. A few years later she joined the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife as a Fisheries Technician. Those who knew Sabrina knew she was a sweet, free-spirited person with a beauty and grace that brightened everyone around her. Her smile and sense of humor were contagious. She had a talent for making things better and she excelled in everything she put effort towards. The testament of her greatness lives on through her family and those close to her. Sabrina had a deep love for baking, traveling, spending time outdoors, and playing with her cat, Violet. She loved to laugh, have fun, and be with her boys. Her greatest joy was raising her two sons, Grayson, and George, and watching them grow. Sabrina was a devoted mother whose dream was to see her children thrive. Sabrina is survived by her loving husband, John; sons: Grayson and George; parents, Donna and David; and brother, David; and many nieces and nephews. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Sabrina's legacy of love and dedication to her family and the natural world will forever be cherished and remembered. A Memorial Service for Sabrina Cary will be held Saturday, July 13, 2pm at Chapel of the Valley, 378 Eastmont Ave., East Wenatchee.
