Taylor Fukuzawa

It is with profound sadness that the family of Taylor Ashley Fukuzawa announce her sudden passing and entrance into Heaven on January 13, 2022 at the age of 28. Taylor was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1993 in Wenatchee, Washington. She is the daughter of Tracy (Panzone) Piepel and Ted Douglas Fukuzawa. Taylor was a 2012 graduate of Eastmont High School. She was a cheerleader, and on the dance team where she competed and qualified to be part of the national dance team that traveled and performed in Rome, Italy. Taylor loved all kinds of music. She would round up her sisters and go for night drives with the music blasting and singing at the top of their lungs. She also enjoyed being silly and sharing "girl talk" with her sisters and their friends. She fiercely loved and protected her brother Nick and was always so proud of him and his accomplishments. Taylor had a real soft spot in her heart for all animals, but her #1 favorite animal was the Sea Turtle (which she swam with on a recent family vacation in Maui this past April). She was always up for trying something new and adventurous like skydiving, zip lining (upside down that is), alpine day hikes. You name it, she was ready. She loved outer space and stargazing too. Taylor had a passion for documentaries and true crime shows & podcasts. Taylor also loved big cities, traveling, and experiencing different kinds of cuisine (like a good "Rare Steak"), she was a true "Foodie". Some of her favorite sounds were: Kade telling her he loved her; crashing waves, rain falling on the roof, and the pop of a cork from a bottle of champagne. Taylor accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2018, surrounded by her family, friends, and WORD Sisters. Taylor's greatest legacy is her three-year old son, Kade Douglas Bitterman. She was so proud of him and loved him deeply. Her bright light and smile will live on through him. Taylor Ashley Fukuzawa was preceded in death by: Great Grandparents, Robert & Frances "Peggy" Stremke; Grandparents, Ben Fukuzawa, Dennis J. Panzone, and Richard & Janet Piepel; Uncle, John T. Fukuzawa; Great Uncle, David M. Stremke. She will be lovingly remembered by: the JOY of her life, her precious son Kade Douglas Bitterman (Father - Bryce T. Bitterman); Fiancé, Randy W. Grib; Parents, Tracy M. Piepel & David J. Piepel; Ted D. Fukuzawa (Mary A. Rose); Brother, Nicolas R. Fukuzawa; Sisters, Madison P. Piepel and Kaitlyn G. Piepel; Grandparents, Haruko "Daisy" Fukuzawa, Cheryl Stremke; Great Aunt, Miki Borigini; Uncles, Dennis Panzone (Jenny Bardwell), Tye Panzone (Jami); Aunt, Mindy Piepel; Cousins, Christina Flaherty (Kyle), Cheyenne, Mia and Bella Panzone, Austin Fukuzawa, M'Lynn Vanderweide (Justin), Gunner Degman (Mira), Charity Jones (Tyler); Second Cousins, Robert and Ed Mier; and many more extended family members. The family sends out a special Thank You to all of Taylor's loved ones, for their prayers, support, messages and calls, and especially the memories that were shared. Taylor's beautiful light will shine on. The family greatly appreciates the outpouring of support and the beautiful flower arrangements, however, we would like to request that any flowers be delayed and/or delivered to the Grace City Church on Friday, February 4th by 3:30pm so that they can be displayed at the service. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Grace City Church, 277 Melody Lane, Wenatchee, WA on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 10:30 am. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
