Terry Doy Cutright

Terry D. "Killer" Cutright June 3, 1952 ~ July 6, 2013 Terry D. "Killer" Cutright, 61, of East Wenatchee, WA, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013. He was born on June 3, 1952, in Chelan, WA, the son of Kermit and Helen (Kanekoa) Cutright. He was a 1976 graduate of Eastmont High School. As a young boy, Terry knew he wanted to drive "big trucks." He made truck driving his career and truly enjoyed it. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Nordang Trucking. Terry surrendered his "bachelorhood" on May 8, 2010, when he married the love of his life, Velma (Phillips) Cutright. Though the years together were few, their love will endure a lifetime. Through this union, he was blessed with children and grandchildren. They and his wife were his greatest source of joy and pride. His love for them was true and unconditional and will be felt forever. There were very few in the community who were not touched by Terry's presence. Because of his unique ability to put people "at ease," he created an immense circle of lifelong friends. Family was his first passion in life and motorcycling was his second. Friends and family take comfort in knowing that he was doing what he loved, with the one he loved, at the time of his passing. Terry will be missed by all and will be forever in our hearts. Terry is survived by his parents, Kermit and Helen Cutright of East Wenatchee; loving wife, Velma Cutright of East Wenatchee; brothers, Tim Cutright of Rock Island, Tracy and Ted Cutright, both of East Wenatchee; sister, Doyana Kanekoa of East Wenatchee; children, Patrick and Melissa Montes, both of East Wenatchee, Tanya Crossley of Cashmere, David Cole of Wenatchee, and Natasha Crossley of Spokane; grandchildren, Ashley Crossley of East Wenatchee, Kaylee, Vanicia and Karsun Cole of Wenatchee, Savannah Crossley of East Wenatchee, and Tila Main of Cashmere. He is also survived by an aunt, an uncle and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013, at the American Legion Post 10, 208 N. Wenatchee Avenue, at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements assisted by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
