Yelena V. Kirova

"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." Rev. 14:13.Yelena Krivova, 43, a ten-year resident of the Wenatchee area, passed away on July 3, 2009, in East Wenatchee, surrounded by her friends and family. She was born to Tamara and Veniamin Kazurov in Astrakhan, Russia on April 19, 1966. Later, the family moved to another city with cherry and peach orchards, a river and beautiful mountains. There, in her Christian Church, she met her sweetheart husband-to-be, Vladimir, whom she married in November of 1990. She worked at the Hospital as a Doctor's assistant in the Maternity ward, helping to deliver babies. The Lord blessed the family when they moved to America in October of 1999. Yelena worked at home, attending to the needs of her family. Their sixth son, Elia, was born in January of 2000, in Wenatchee. She was a strong Christian believer and she considered planting a seed of faith and love to God in her kid's hearts, to be very important. By her perfect example, she passed her faith and love for Jesus to her children, teaching them to be honest and respectful to others. Every evening, no matter how tired they were, the family gathered to read the Bible or sing a song. Their son, Sergey, is still praying that God will resurrect her and she'll be with them again. Their family loves the First Slavic Baptist Church and enjoys going there every Sunday. Yelena was a very kind, soft-spoken person, who radiated warmth to everyone around her. Once, at Bible study, they discussed if Christians should be afraid of death. Some said it was natural for a human being to fear death. But Yelena said: "Why to be afraid? God gave us hope." Her last words were: "Love you all, love you all, love you..."The family sends the warmest heartfelt thanks to Dr. Garrison and medical staff at Central Washington Hospital and Swedish Medical Center for all the care and love she received during her last days. She is survived by her husband, Vladimir, at the home; her children, Angelina - 17, Daniil - 16, Anastasiya - 15, Pavel - 13, Sergey - 11 and Elia - 9; by her sisters, Lubov and Liya, in Russia; Nadya and Mariya in Wenatchee, WA; and her brother, Pavel, in Germany.A Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2009, at Telford's Chapel of the Valley in East Wenatchee. Another Service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the First Slavic Baptist Church, 490 N. June Street, East Wenatchee. Interment will follow at Wenatchee Cemetery. Memorial contributions would be greatly appreciated.
