Obituary

F.M. “Buzz” Parkhill passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the age of 91. Buzz was born in Wenatchee, WA on June 19, 1928 to James and Rose Parkhill of Wenatchee, WA. After graduating from Wenatchee High School, he joined the Marine Corps and served in WW2. He then pursued a career in engineering where he eventually landed a job as Public Works Director for the City of Wenatchee where he retired.
Buzz met and married his beloved wife, Barbara Jean Secolo, and were married in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. He was a member of the Wenatchee American Legion Post 10 and was dedicated to veteran causes. Buzz was a huge part of building the memorial in front of the VFW. Buzz loved fishing, golfing, and especially spending time with friends and family. Buzz was loved by the community.
Buzz is survived by wife Barbara Jean Parkhill (Secolo), son, Shaun and his wife Vicki (Hensley) Parkhill, son Michael and his wife Tina (Fields) Parkhhill, grandchildren Brittany Parkhill, Natasha Parkhill, Logan Parkhill, Buzz Parkhill, Ian Sagdal, Elijah Smiley, and great-granddaughters Amari, Makyli and Natalie.

A memorial celebration will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements were assisted by Chapel of the Valley, Wenatchee.
