Andrew "Andy" Lemons

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew Lemons, who died peacefully the morning of May 25th 2025 on the property he so dearly loved in Leavenworth, Washington. He was surrounded by the stillness of the land he nurtured and the peace he found in nature, a reflection of the life he led. Andrew was a devoted husband, a selfless father, a proud grandfather, and the truest kind of family man. He is survived by his beloved wife Lucinda, his children Megan (Gene), Kelley, and Chase (Mark), brothers Mike (Marina) and Ron, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his treasured grandson Jace, who was the light of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents Derril and Susie Lemons and his two brothers Jerry and Pat. His love for his family was boundless — it was not only felt in words or gestures, but shown in the unwavering presence and care he gave every single day. His family was his world, and he lived every moment for them. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family, but never forgot any always in their hearts. Born October 8th, 1961 and raised in Leavenworth, Andrew lived his entire life in the valley he called home. He found deep joy in the simple things — tending to his garden, flower beds, and yard with a quiet pride that only someone truly connected to the earth could understand. The outdoors wasn’t just a backdrop to his life — it was part of who he was. Every blooming flower, every pruned tree, every neatly cut blade of grass was a small reflection of his patience, attentiveness, and care. Andrew had a gentle spirit, full of empathy, wisdom, and compassion. He was the person you could always call — ready with an open ear, thoughtful advice, and the kind of quiet strength that made you feel heard and supported. He never hesitated to give of himself, and his presence was a comforting constant in the lives of those who loved him. Though he is no longer with us, Andrew’s love lives on — in the family he cherished, in the garden that will continue to bloom in his memory, and in the lessons he passed down so generously. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Andrews immediate family plans to spend time together visiting the places he loved and sharing stories. At Andrews request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to sit with someone you love, share a kind word, or tend to a piece of earth — just as Andrew would have done.
