Judith Dennison Crandall

Judith Dennison (Cook) Crandall March 8, 1937 ~ January 20, 2015 Judy was born in St. Paul, MN on March 8, 1937, to parents, John A. and Florence Cook. She went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2015, after a short battle with cancer. She died peacefully in her home, surrounded by her beloved family. Judy grew up on White Bear Lake in Minnesota and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. She moved to Wenatchee in 1977 to be closer to her mother. She married Thomas E. Crandall in 1983. They resided in the well known (Christmas house) on the corner of 12th and Eastmont Avenue in East Wenatchee. Judy was first and foremost a mother and grandmother, but not just to her own family. Many people gravitated toward her because of her ability to listen well and give sound advice, even if it wasn't always easy to hear. They always came back for more because Judy was pure love through and through. She spent many of her years in sales of different types. She loved working with and selling cosmetics. She also did out sales for Sears. The farmers were shocked when this pretty little lady in heals would show up to measure for their new fence or roof. Judy also ran a small business that had her teaching and mentoring others to succeed. She was always there to help others, particularly her children and grandchildren. A true servant and matriarch of her family. Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Radach. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Melvin Duane Lundgren, Laurjie Jean Lundgren, Camile Dawn (Roger) Dunn, and Charles Allen Lundgren; her seven grandchildren, Nicole (Phil) Hernandez, Grant (Ashley) Dunn, Taylor Dunn, Kimberly Dunn, Holly Lundgren, Mandi Lundgren, and Charles Lundgren Jr.; and eight great-grandchildren. Our mother claimed many others as her own... you know who you are. A Celebration of Judy's Life is to be held at Roger and Camile Dunn's house, 3296 NW David Street, East Wenatchee on Saturday, January 31, 2015, between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. (open house style). Please come share memories and fellowship with her family. Food will be served. Arrangements are assisted by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
