Rebecca Bell

Our beloved mother and grandmother Rebecca "Becky" Kay Bell passed away on October 18, 2022. She married the love of her life, Randy Lewis Bell, in September of 1975. Her husband preceded her in death in May 2020. Becky's parents, Pearl and Lyle King, also preceded her in death. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Rachel Bell Rawley of Oroville, Sarah Bell and husband Joseph Ferrare of Bellingham, and Kristiane Bell Ellis and husband Erik of Chelan; her 3 brothers, Daniel King, wife Lynn, Robert King, wife Linda, and William King; plus 7 grandchildren, Katherine (Katie), Maximus (Max), Emily, Lauren, Luke, Lucy, Henrik (Henry), her many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. She loved all of these people deeply. Becky grew up in Richfield near Minneapolis, Minnesota. After high school, adventure took her to Tennessee and Washington state. While living in Seattle studying and working with computers, a coworker, Roger Bell, decided she had to meet his brother. Becky and Randy wed on September 19, 1975. A little over a year later with their oldest daughter in tow, they moved to Minnesota where their youngest 2 daughters were later born. Becky stayed in the home with the children until she began working in promotions for T&K Foods. In 1994, adventure would begin again, when her family moved to Oroville, Washington, where they started Bell's Supermarket. Following that, they moved to Western Washington, where they would retire, and years later move to Wenatchee to be closer to family. When her children were younger, Becky devoted her time to driving them to piano lessons, school, sporting events, and church. She and Randy took her children on many cross-country road trips, which were a family highlight. She had many lifelong friends from church and school and during her days at Minnehaha Academy. She and Randy loved to travel and visit with their many friends around the country. She was an avid reader, loved an antique store, and a good bargain. She is missed by many. A service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery on Thursday, November 3rd at 1:30, followed by dinner and conversation.
