Roseann Young

Roseann (Fuller) Young, age 72, entered into the presence of her Savior on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Roseann was born in Van Nuys, California, on Sunday, April 12, 1953, to Theodore L. (Ted) and Mary Ann Fuller. She was the oldest of four children, with two brothers and one sister. She was preceded in death by her father Ted, her husband Robert (Bob), and her brother Michael, and is survived by her mother Mary Ann, her brother Frank, and sister Linda (Fuller) Kelly. Roseann graduated from high school in Fallon, NV, and graduated from college at Los Angeles Baptist College (now The Master’s University) with degrees in English and Business. Bob and Roseann met while both were attending the University and were married on June 23, 1973. After living a short time, in Southern California, followed by Fallon, NV, they eventually settled in Chelan, WA. After starting and running an in-home preschool for 10 years, she completed a teaching degree at Central Washington University, followed by a Master’s degree in Educational Administration at Heritage University. Roseann taught for 27 years at Chelan Jr/Sr High School before retiring in June of 2025. Bob and Roseann begat one son, Michael Young (Lisa Young) with grandchildren Mackenzie, Emmy, Walker Young (Isabel Young) with great-grandchild Wilder Young; Lincoln, Squire, and Titus; daughter Melissa Simmons (Greg Simmons) with grandchildren Isabelle, Adalai, Sawyer, Audrine, Caedon, and Norris; daughter Amanda Fischer (Bill Fischer) with grandchildren Mabel, Elsie, and Silas. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Mackenzie Young. Roseann thrived on interaction with people, and especially children. Her conversations frequently involved intersecting social circles of church, family, coworkers, and other Chelan locals. Her love of children in her special education classes was evident to those who didn’t recognize their own potential, as she never gave up on their success. Her grandchildren received special attention in her later years, often being the recipients of numerous elaborate sewing projects. Music was an important element in her church involvement, as she participated faithfully in yearly cantatas. She loved her Savior and, therefore, church involvement at Living Stone (formerly Little Stone) was a priority, being a member for over 40 years.
